Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico was born to a music-loving family. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana is passionate about opera and tangos, along with all dramatic performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing, but she began more intensive singing lessons with Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. he was a renowned Mexican opera singer and tenor. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, as well being a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups as well as choruses. Following her move from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She is passionate about performing, music, as well as the arts keeps her involved in local activities for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana was a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
