Rosalia Vila is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco singer and pop artist. Involved in the margins of popular and traditional music since she was a teenager, she also delves into other music genres like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Her voice is described by no less a talent than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp but with a bite like those of the past. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in the year 2017. This album won her the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami was her third full-length album. It featured collaborations with fellow musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. This set was released the month of March 2022, following an Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
